January 10, 2017, 7:00 pm The Micah Center First Tuesdays lecture series is an opportunity for people to learn more about a particular justice issue and the work that is being done to address that issue. Everyone is welcome to attend these free, hour-long presentations and to participate in the question and answer time. Dr. Kurt Ver Beek, co-founder of AJS and Sociology professor at Calvin College, will share on the importance of understanding the real meaning of doing justice along with practical examples of how AJS has been working in the justice field for more than 18 years in Honduras.
Members of LaGrave church will share about how they have been using their gifts and skill sets to join a partnership with AJS's land rights project in Honduras.
