Philosopher Nicholas Wolterstorff spoke on the Christian call to do justice and provide a Biblical perspective on what the word justice means. Since 1983, with the release of Wolterstorff’s book, “Until Peace and Justice Embrace”, Wolterstorff has been exploring themes of love and justice both at a personal and academic level. He has visited AJS multiple times, connecting his thoughtful study with AJS’ innovative work on the ground. In this presentation Wolterstorff will share his personal and academic experiences with justice, and invite you to think about what “doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God” means in our communities. Join us for dessert, coffee, and a good discussion!
