About the Authors

For both Kurt Ver Beek and Nicholas Wolterstorff, justice is at the center of their life’s work. Kurt Ver Beek is one of the Co-Founders ASJ, whose globally-recognized work for justice helped make one of the most violent countries in the world a more peaceful place. Nicholas Wolterstorff is one of the most prominent Christian philosophers of our time, and his study of justice has influenced Christians around the world.


In Call for Justice, Kurt and Nick share their reflections on justice through a series of exchanges that demonstrate what it means to do justice in both theory and practice.

The work for justice described in Call for Justice draws from the work of our Honduran partner organization, la Asociación para una Sociedad más Justa (ASJ-Honduras). ASJ is a group of brave Christians, committed to making Honduran government systems work for the most vulnerable members of society.
