What Do You Dream Of?

“I dream of quality schools where children are safe to play and learn.” This desire for justice uttered by many Honduran parents, teachers, and students, is one of ASJ’s focus areas. With more than 2 million Honduran children out of school for almost two years, ASJ is advocating for a plan to transform public education so that economic resources don’t remain a barrier to learning. Recently, we publicly praised the example of one school that embodied the spirit of the plan by safely teaching children throughout the pandemic.

Watch student Christie reflect gratefully on the impact of having access to education during the pandemic.
